Jarlath Hetherington and Lewis Potter have both accepted the roles following a lot of hard work that was put in by both throughout the 2022/23 season. It is testament to that hard work and ambition that they have both been asked to lead the club on the pitch in the Anniversary season.

In reaction to accepting the position, Jarlath stated “It’s an honour to be asked to captain the club. I started this sport at 21 years ago and i’m very excited for the task ahead, to get the most out of a squad with a lot of talent. Also, i’d like to thank Sam Cooksley for everything he achieved in the role over the last 4 years'' and Lewis commented that ''Going into the centenary season it’s an honour to be named as co-captain of the 1st Team. The 23/24 season has great potential to be successful with this group of players and I can’t wait to get started''

We look forward to supporting Jarlath and Lewis in the coming season, whilst also wanting to thank Sam Cooksley for his efforts as captain over the previous years.
