Darts girls entered 2 teams in this year's Kent 7s tournament with contrasting experiences. Some of our players joined up with 4 Bromley RFC girls and earned great game time against some solid teams. Led by some experienced Darts players it was a tough day at the office with plenty of players going to the well just to get through the pool matches. Without the Bromley girls helping we wouldn't have been able to field 2 teams so credit to them for stepping up and we wish them the best for next season. Unfortunately injuries hampered our chase for victory in the finals group with Evie and Joslyn both being forced out of the last match. None of our girls backed down and showed the Darts spirit all the way through making both parents and coaches immensely proud.

Our other team playing in a different group had some success winning all their group matches with ease and being placed into the cup playoffs finals along side Beccs Valley and TJ's.

First up was Beccs Valley and a closely fought match saw our girls win 14-12. There was no rest for our girls as the second match was straight away against TJ's. A tight match throughout, however, in the later stages of the match with the score at 7-7, fatigue crept in and let TJs in for a match winning try. Final score 7-12.

The quick turnaround saw TJ's fall in the last playoff match too so it came down to points difference with Darts ending up 3rd.

Some great individual tries throughout the game but this group of girls played as a team all the way through and will look forward to building on this for next year.

A hugely successful season for the U14 girls and we've one more 10's tournament left before they have a well earned break.

Thanks to the parents and spectators who once again clocked up the miles to cheer the girls on and provide their support.
